Class 1 Driver

• Use of a handheld terminal to record accurate information
• Occasionally driving class 2 and 3.5t vehicles during peak periods
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Driving Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly
• Ensure daily vehicle checks
• Inform the transport office of any problems in good time
• Fit to drive
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain health and safety standards
• Operating in a safe way, following all road rules
• Ensure all paperwork is correct, completed and returned to the transport office
• Delivering goods to various locations

• Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E)
• Valid CPC
• Digital Tacho Card
• HGV/LGC Class licence with 12 months experience
• Previous experience is essential
• Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial
• Completed a CPC Training Course
• Strong geographical and logistical knowledge
• Good communication skills, spoken and written
• Ability to build good working relationships
• Adaptable in start and finish times
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to self-motivate, self-manage and work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Friendly and helpful nature with an excellent work ethic
