Job Description

Lawes are proud to be partnering with a Leading global broker in their search for a dedicated and experienced Claims Technician. This role is central to providing exceptional client service and technical processing support within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Engage in multi-disciplined technical processing including premium, pro rata and excess of loss claims
  • Liaise with clients and carriers on a technical level to ensure outstanding service delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
  • Support brokers through risk sign-down and maintenance of account statistics
  • Manage and negotiate excess of loss claims including complex matters and reinsurer audit
  • Represent the business in client and reinsurer meetings when required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a reinsurance Client Services role
  • Competence in handling a wide range of risk types including proportional and excess of loss
  • Proven reinsurance claims handling background
  • Experience working with large corporate clients
  • Familiarity with IMR, CLASS, ECF and LORS systems
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office or similar platforms
