Job Responsibility:

  • Assists claims team partners by leveraging systems and documented processes to complete the initial eligibility verification on all new claims filed
  • Maintains ownership of client specific email box to ensure timely processing of incoming mail and the creation of new claims as needed
  • Research outstanding items to resolution
  • Prints and mails communications as needed
  • Builds effective working relationships with internal partner teams
  • Reviews daily and weekly reports to ensure accuracy of assigned work items
  • Remains current on customer service policies and procedures
  • Prioritizes multiple tasks and works independently to some degree
  • Supports management with special projects as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Effective communication skills – written, verbal, facilitation of strong working relationships
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
