Job Description:

Claims Service Consultant Level 1 | Customer & Operations | 15-month contract. Hybrid working environment, accessible within vicinity of your state CBD office. Job Responsibility:

  • Follow the AAL Claims Management Process and adhere to AAL standards to minimize claim costs
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting claims management and apply sound decision-making throughout the claim's lifecycle
  • Manage expectations and relationships with claimants, internal, and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team and the broader business unit
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide timely, effective responses to customer needs, adhering to AAL phone standards
  • Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Motor claims in a call-centre based environment for the entirety of your shift
  • Experience in claims management across various Commercial Motor product lines in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Possess tertiary or industry-specific qualifications
  • Ability to multi-task, navigate, and work throughout multiple systems and PDS in a timely manner
  • Experience in working with Insurance brokers
  • Meet technical capability and competence standards for professional progression, including submission of a portfolio (for AAL employees)
  • Experience in claims management across various general insurance product lines in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools
  • Proficient in planning, prioritizing, organizing tasks, and managing resources effectively
  • skilled in interpreting complex information and making informed decisions, with high attention to detail and error identification.
