Job Description

NDRA (National Debt Recovery Agency), is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Claims & Recoveries Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of debt recovery matters on behalf of external clients, including rental companies and smash/collision repairers. You’ll oversee the full recovery lifecycle - from claim initiation through to resolution -negotiating outcomes, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Job Responsibility

  • Managing a portfolio of matters from initiation through to resolution
  • Liaising with external clients, including rental companies and smash/collision repairers, to obtain documentation, provide updates, and manage expectations
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls with insurers, customers, and third parties to gather information and progress matters
  • Negotiating settlements with insurers and third parties to achieve commercially sound outcomes
  • Overseeing and reconciling a ledger of repair, assessing, towing, and credit hire rental invoices
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth progression

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in debt recovery, claims management, insurance, or a related field (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Confident communicator with strong phone-based negotiation skills
