We are recruiting for a well-known Australian private health insurance fund to secure a detail-oriented Claims Officer for their team based in Parramatta. In this fast-paced, 2-to-3-month temporary assignment, you will focus on high-volume medical claims processing and data entry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring medical claims are assessed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company guidelines to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibility
Data Capture & Entry: Review and accurately enter claim information from customer forms into internal systems
Claims Assessment: Assess, process, and manage medical claims while meeting daily productivity and quality targets
Problem Solving: Resolve straightforward claims, handle adjustments, and follow up on minor issues or missing details
Team Collaboration: Provide general administrative support and work closely with your team members to meet shared processing deadlines
Requirements
System Familiarity: Prior experience using Salesforce and ELMO is highly regarded
Data Capture Expertise: Essential experience with data capture from customer service forms
Industry Experience: Ideally, you have a background in health insurance claims or medical billing processing
Strong Attention to Detail: Exceptional data entry accuracy with a focus on hitting targets without compromising on quality
Great Communication: Polite and professional communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
