We’re recruiting part‑time evening Claims Handlers to join our team. This role is 21 hours per week over 4 days and offers flexible shift rotations, with availability across the weekend. You’ll begin with 6.5 weeks of structured training, delivered on a part‑time basis, to ensure you’re fully supported and confident before moving into role. Job Responsibility:
Handling inbound customer calls and acting as the first point of contact following a breakdown
Gathering accurate information to assess the situation, including location, vehicle details, and customer safety
Setting clear expectations and providing tailored guidance to customers
Coordinating and dispatching appropriate recovery assistance efficiently
Managing the initial stages of the breakdown claim through to resolution
Delivering a calm, empathetic, and professional service while working to performance targets
Requirements:
A customer‑focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent service
Confidence handling calls in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
Strong communication skills with a clear and professional telephone manner
Ability to assess situations quickly and take appropriate action
Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems (Microsoft Outlook/Word beneficial)
Nice to have:
Contact centre experience
A full UK driving licence
