Job Responsibility:
Handle and settle claims in line with policy cover and legal liability
Manage customer queries, complaints, and complex cases
Investigate claims where necessary, ensuring fair and accurate settlements
Negotiate with stakeholders and suppliers to control costs and achieve positive outcomes
Identify and report potential fraud
Maintain accurate records of reserves, recoveries, and file status
Requirements:
Experience as a Claims Handler within Insurance (preferably car)
Experience with vehicle and property damage claims, liability, and credit hire
Strong investigation and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a caseload independently, prioritising effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive situations
Proficiency in IT systems and computer literacy
