We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a growing insurance brokerage in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with prior insurance broker claims experience who enjoys managing claims end-to-end and delivering outstanding service in the property and commercial insurance sector. You will act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the claims process, ensuring claims are handled efficiently, fairly, and with a strong focus on achieving the best possible outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Handle commercial and property claims from first notification through to settlement
Act as the main liaison between clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other third parties
Provide clear guidance and support to clients during the claims process
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with FCA regulations
Monitor claim progress and proactively resolve issues or delays
Maintain strong working relationships with insurer claims teams
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Claims Handler within an insurance broker is essential
Strong knowledge of commercial and/or property insurance claims
Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
Well organised with strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple claims while maintaining high service standards
