Job Description

This role is responsible for the effective handling and oversight of international Motor claims, with primary focus on portfolios emanating from the Netherlands and France, as well as other international portfolios as required.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage an allocated portfolio of international Motor claims to a high technical standard, including coverage review, liability assessment, reserving and negotiation to achieve timely and appropriate settlements
  • Handle large, complex and disputed Motor claims across multiple jurisdictions, predominantly within Europe, with appropriate referral where required
  • Work closely with appointed TPAs, reviewing referred matters and claims exceeding delegated authority levels to ensure appropriate handling and reserving
  • Progress claims proactively and efficiently, maintaining regular contact with counterparties and external advisers to drive resolution

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience handling Motor claims, including larger and more complex matters, to a consistently high technical standard
  • Experience in complex and high value bodily injury claims
  • Experience handling claims across multiple jurisdictions, preferably within Europe
  • exposure to Dutch and/or French Motor claims would be advantageous
  • Experience supporting complaint resolution in line with regulatory and internal governance requirements
