Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join our clients Global Markets team. As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in processing and settling complex claims related to aviation, energy, marine, and liability within the global market.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review and assess various types of claims including aviation (cargo and hull), energy (offshore), casualty, marine (cargo and hull), and liability claims
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, and underwriters to gather necessary information and documentation for claims processing
  • Analyse policy coverage and applicable laws to determine the validity of claims
  • Conduct thorough investigations and collaborate with other departments to resolve and settle claims in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate claim files and documentation while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process

Requirements:

  • CII, or working towards preferred
  • Experience in handling complex claims within the aviation, energy, marine, and liability fields preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Familiarity with insurance policies, regulations, and legal considerations
