At TIO, a division of Allianz Australia Insurance Limited, the Claims Consultant position focuses on managing domestic motor/property claims, providing excellent customer service, and supporting Territorians during critical moments. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a customer-focused attitude, along with the ability to perform under pressure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain customer service levels and exceed customer expectations whilst meeting team objectives
  • managing a portfolio of domestic motor/property claims in accordance with the General Insurance Code of Practice
  • provide timely and effective responses to customer enquiries over the phone and in writing
  • develop customer relationships to understand customer's requirements, and deliver a positive, trusted customer experience
  • deliver consistent and appropriate high level of customer service at all touch points.

Requirements:

  • Experience in administration, customer service and/or contact centre within a corporate environment will be advantageous
  • eagerness to learn and grow within the organisation will be essential
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making capabilities
  • ability to recognise, avert, manage, and escalate conflicts
  • high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy
