As a Claims Co-op, you’ll practice investigation, evaluation, and communication skills while making real impact. Work part-time during school and full-time over breaks. The Claims co-op students will work closely with a mentor to understand how claims are handled. Access to insurance course work including licensing and designations. Job Responsibility:
Assist claims representatives with claim handling activity
Support internal and external customers with empathy and understanding
Document claim files with information provided
Bilingual support as applicable
Develop knowledge of claim handling best practices and jurisdictional requirements (participation in Basic Claims Learning)
Obtain required licensing as needed
Requirements:
Pursuing an undergraduate degree
Obtain a minimum GPA of 2.7
Graduating in Dec 2027- Dec 2028 preferred
Ability to work up to 20 hours a week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours a week during breaks
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
