Job Description:

We are looking for a Claims Adjuster Natural Resources, based in London. The role involves resolving and managing claims within the natural resources and construction sectors, producing management information reports, preparing referral documentation, and working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent claims handling service.

Job Responsibility:

Resolve Natural Resources & Construction claims, ensuring cost effective, service-oriented solutions
Actively evaluate & address coverage issues and determine appropriate reserving levels
Input and maintain accurate claims records (e.g. reserves, payments)
Process standard indemnity and expense payments
Contribute to market meetings, representing Allianz Commercial in the industry
Produce management information reports (e.g. monthly major claims movements)
Prepare referral documentation and materials as appropriate
Report loss information internally and externally
Work with other functional areas in Claims handling process
Actively review late/non-payment of premium and support credit control process with Underwriting /Accounts

Requirements:

Be keen to learn from the technical experts within the team and progress a career in complex claims handling
Have a basic understanding of Natural Resources & Construction Insurance and reserving principles
Be proficient with Microsoft Office and used to learning new systems
Be able to use data in order to provide meaningful analytics
Have excellent communication skills, able to create and maintain solid relationships at every level within the organization
Prior experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable
CII qualifications, or progress towards them is beneficial

A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential

Nice to have:
