CLA Education Caseworker. Apply before 9am on 6 May 2026. Salary: 28182 - 33323. Location: Gateshead. Workplace: Hybrid working. Contract: Permanent. Working pattern: Flexible. Hours per week: 18-37.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide expert advice and support through our national CLA telephone service
  • Help clients navigate SEN decisions, EHCPs and tribunal processes
  • Deliver high‑quality casework that truly changes lives
  • Spot emerging issues and help us influence system‑wide change
  • Work with a passionate, values‑driven team committed to justice and equality

Requirements:

  • Recent experience delivering advice to clients
  • A structured, methodical approach to casework
  • Strong communication skills — especially conveying complex information clearly
  • A passion for fairness, inclusion, and empowering those who need it most
  • Knowledge and experience of SEN law is essential.

  • React and respond as required to short-term changes in site requirements / conditions
