Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and manage teams repairing sewer assets to make sure they meet quality and customer service standards, along with supervision of our larger project schemes
  • Champion safety and well-being, uphold strong quality standards, manage workload and timelines, and drive cost efficiencies across projects
  • Manage civil reinstatements on sewer pipes, rising mains, manhole chambers, and large projects
  • Assist in leading the site team to support the successful delivery of project outcomes, through effective planning, procurement, risk management and communication with the relevant personnel
  • Work and manage jobs in a variety of locations, including customers' properties and gardens, highways and treatment plants
  • Coach, mentor and guide team leaders and operatives within your team on a day-to-day basis
  • Work from our office and outdoors, dealing with different challenges every day and providing a vital service to our customers and department
  • Work across Dorset and the surrounding areas, with the main depot being based in Kinson

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a supervisor
  • A SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • A temporary Works Supervisor qualification
  • A valid First Aid certification
  • A positive can-do attitude, a great work ethic and be dedicated to doing a good job
  • Well-organised and customer-focused, as well as being a great team player
  • A valid UK driving licence
