To ensure all works are completed as required whilst the team are working within the required guidelines and processes
Operate manual and mechanical equipment
Ensure all SLG set up meets the Streetworks requirements and all sites are 100% compliant
Reinstate to industry standard ensuring all information / pictures are captured on company supplied assets
Be competent in the use of Stihl Saws / Wacker plates / trench compactor and hold the correct certification to complete the works
Complete the required paperwork for your daily work tasks (job sheets / risk assessments / plant sheets / van sheets)
Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities
To be responsible for the company assets & plant assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties
Ensure compliance with all current client processes and procedures
Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients

Requirements

Previous experience in construction or groundworks is essential
In addition to your experience, you will ideally have a valid CSCS card NPORS / CPCS (360 Excavator, Dumper etc.) and SWQR (Street works), although we can provide training for the right candidate
You will also need to hold a full UK driving licence due to the travel involved with this role

Job Responsibility

Perform groundwork activities, including excavation, drainage, concreting, kerbing, paving, and other general construction duties
Lay foundations, including footings, for EV Chargers
Operate plant machinery, such as excavators, dumpers, and rollers, in a safe and effective manner (appropriately trained and licensed)
Follow plans and drawings to ensure work is carried out to specification
