Job Responsibility

  • Supporting a variety of high-profile rail projects and frameworks across the UK, carrying out civil engineering design (Rail Depots, Stations, Ancillary, Lineside, Bridges, Platforms etc) to support rail systems delivery
  • Undertake structural design calculations and assessments
  • Act as a hands-on design engineer, contributing directly to technical output rather than purely managing
  • Ensure designs consider constructability, buildability, and practical site constraints

Requirements

  • Proven experience in civil design within the rail sector
  • Experience in fulfilling the role of Contractor's Responsible Engineer or ability to fulfil the role in the future an advantage
  • Strong background in Rail civils, Structural and/or Construction design
  • Good understanding of constructability and site delivery constraints
  • Experience undertaking or supporting site surveys
