Job Description:

This is a hands-on, physical outdoor role. It’s ideal for people who enjoy practical work, working outside, and being part of a team. No telecoms experience needed — full training is provided. Important: This is a physically demanding job involving lifting, digging, bending, and being on your feet for most of the day.

Job Responsibility:

  • Installing Virgin Media services at customer properties
  • Pulling cables through underground ducting from cabinets to homes
  • Working in gardens, driveways, footpaths, and access chambers
  • Speaking with customers about cable routes before starting work
  • Using hand tools and mechanical civils equipment
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Working underground and, as you progress, at heights on overhead fibre (PIA)
  • Following strict Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (12+ months, max 6 points)
  • Comfortable with manual labour and physical work
  • Willing to work outdoors, underground, and at heights
  • Strong focus on Health & Safety
  • Good customer communication skills
  • Reliable, motivated, and a team player

Nice to have:

Telecoms, civils, or trade experience is a bonus (not essential)
