Civil Utility Worker

• Assisting our Civil Team with laying HV cables, joint-bay excavations, construction and reinstatement work
• Transport materials to and from sites and do site preparation and post-job clean-up
• Carry out hazard identification, underground obstructions and set up safe sites to relevant Safe Work Practices
• Perform manual labouring tasks like excavating, backfilling, equipment and cable installation
• Discuss worksite safety risks identified at the site with the supervisors and project managers and the effective controls to mitigate risks

• A valid driver’s licence (Class 2)
• WTR endorsements would be preferred
• To be physically fit and be able to lift heavy weights up to 20Kg
• A great work attitude and willingness to be part of a diverse team along with a strong focus to health & safety
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and communicate well
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
