Job Description

Civil self perform contractor specialising greenfield drainage and water infrastructure projects seeking an experienced Civil Foreperson to manage crews of 4-5 skilled labourers. This role is based in Bendigo and seeking locally available candidates.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage site crews and subcontractors to ensure the delivery of detailed civil components
  • Direct the installation of potable/recycled water mains in accordance with Water Authority standards
  • Coordinate the end-to-end reticulation process within greenfield residential and industrial estates
  • Interpret and implement technical civil drawings, ensuring all works meet local council and developer specifications
  • Manage daily site diaries, safety inductions, and toolbox talks to maintain a high standard of OHS compliance
  • Liaise with project managers and engineers to track progress against strict development timelines
  • Oversee the quality control of trenching, pipe laying, and backfilling operations to prevent rework
