The Opportunity: Randstad is partnering with a reputable land development contractor seeking to appoint a Civil Supervisor ahead of a busy 2026. A strong workbook secured by long-standing partnerships with Victoria’s most prominent land developers, this company views quality delivery and safety as its core pillars of operation and seeking like-minded individuals to join their team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing and managing multi-stage civil construction projects from $10 - $30 million in construction value
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards
  • Supervising and directing construction crews, subcontractors, and other personnel
  • Managing and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure project progression according to schedule, budget, and quality standards
  • Maintaining construction schedules and coordinating tasks to meet timelines
  • Monitoring work quality and ensuring compliance with specified standards and codes
  • Conducting inspections and addressing any issues during the construction process
  • Acting as a liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients
  • Monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and identifying potential cost-saving measures
  • Addressing unexpected challenges and problems promptly to minimise disruptions
  • Maintaining detailed records, daily reports, and progress updates
