While they have long been established as a preferred consultant for Tier 2 contractors in the delivery of high-end civil and landscape packages, they are now strategically expanding their self-performing civil construction arm. As the company expands its civil construction capabilities, you will play a critical role in overseeing the delivery of complex civil-landscaping interface projects. You will be responsible for transitioning engineering designs into high-quality infrastructure, ensuring that every project—from rail environments to local government developments—is executed with the precision the brand is known for.
Job Responsibility:
Leading and mentoring site crews and plant operators, fostering a high-performance culture within a rapidly growing team.
Managing the day-to-day coordination of subcontractors and material logistics to ensure the construction program remains ahead of schedule.
Interpreting technical civil drawings and specifications, with a focus on bulk earthworks, detailed excavation, and structural concrete works.
Implementing and upholding stringent OHS and environmental management systems in line with Tier 2 and government client expectations.
Acting as the primary site liaison for client representatives, ensuring professional communication and proactive resolution of technical challenges.
Monitoring plant and equipment requirements to ensure optimal resource allocation across active work fronts.
Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries, quality assurance checklists, and safety toolboxes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the Victorian civil construction specifically major roads infrastructure, level crossing removals and renewable projects.
A strong understanding of the compliance and reporting standards required when working alongside Tier 2 contractors.
Technical proficiency in reading civil plans and performing site set-outs with high attention to detail.
The ability to lead a diverse workforce and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
A valid Victorian Driver’s License and General Construction Induction (White Card).
A trade background or formal qualifications in Civil Construction or a related field.
