We are seeking a proactive and experienced Civil Supervisor with specialized knowledge in Water Treatment Plants (WTP) to join our team in Kochi, India, on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma and up to 4 years of experience in managing construction/repair works, site execution, and supervision, particularly within the water treatment and supply sector.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and manage all civil construction and repair works at the Water Treatment Plant (WTP)
Ensure effective site execution of projects, adhering to schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations
Provide diligent supervision of all on-site activities, including civil works, pipeline installations, and WTP operations
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project progress
Monitor the progress of water supply infrastructure and WTP related civil works
Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the construction and maintenance phases
Prepare and submit regular progress reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols specific to WTP environments
Manage and optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve any site-specific technical or logistical issues that may arise
Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil construction/repair works, with a strong emphasis on site execution and supervision
Proven experience in Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and water supply projects is essential
In-depth knowledge of pipeline construction, installation, and maintenance
Familiarity with WTP civil infrastructure and operational requirements
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality management systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a proactive manner
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and reporting is advantageous
