Job Responsibility

Develop landfill design components including base grades, liner grades, interim and final cover grading plans, stormwater conveyance features, sedimentation ponds, leachate collection systems, landfill gas infrastructure, and access roads
Perform earthwork and airspace volumetric calculations for landfill and site development projects
Process and manage various forms of data including XML files, survey point data, GIS data, shapefiles, LiDAR, Land Desktop files, and drone survey information
Assist in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, geotechnical data, and testing information to support project planning and design
Become familiar with applicable local, state, and federal design standards, solid waste regulations, and permitting requirements
Create, utilize, and modify plans, profiles, alignments, sample lines, corridors, and section views
Prepare detailed and accurate plan and profile drawings for civil and environmental infrastructure projects
Create, manage, and edit line types, text styles, label styles, point groups, and CAD standards libraries
