Job Description:

As a Civil Site Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the planning, designing, and constructing of civil engineering projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and planners, you will contribute to site inspections, technical drafting, data analysis, and project design. This internship provides exposure to real-world projects that shape communities and offers valuable insight into project management, regulatory compliance, and construction practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gain hands-on experience in the planning, designing, and constructing of civil engineering projects

  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and verify that construction aligns with engineering plans
  • Assist with feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting
  • Support engineers in designing stormwater management systems, site layouts, and other infrastructure projects
  • Prepare and update technical drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Compile and analyze data to guide project development
  • Maintain project documentation
  • Contribute to project reports

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
