Job Description:

Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for both public and private projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our construction services include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients’ specific project requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Interpret project specifications and plans across various disciplines
  • Inspect and coordinate inspection of construction work
  • Coordinate schedules
  • Verify projects are completed per the project documents
  • Oversee projects of various complexity
  • Travel to various job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or other applicable field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction observation or construction inspection
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of MoDOT standards and previous involvement in Missouri Department of Transportation projects
  • OSHA 10
