Job Description

Airswift is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Civil Inspector to oversee the quality and compliance of civil work on large-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. The position is to work in Comanche County, TX for an initial 12-month contract.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with HSE and project quality standards
  • Implement and maintain the quality plan, resolving deficiencies
  • Perform civil QA/QC inspections using Vyn and verify contractor deliverables
  • Manage nonconformities and corrective/preventive actions
  • Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and specs
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
  • Conduct site inspections and support third-party quality reviews
  • Maintain project documentation and QC records
  • Participate in quality meetings and provide civil technical support

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in solar (PV) QA/QC
  • 5+ years in construction QA/QC
  • Strong knowledge of civil work, SWPPP, and applicable codes/standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Allowed to work in the US
