Job Description

Airswift is currently seeking a Civil QA/QC Inspector to join our client’s team in Fort Stockton, TX, on a 12-month contract. The Civil QA/QC Specialist manages the quality program for onshore wind construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, engineering requirements, and industry standards. The role includes civil construction oversight, contractor verification, documentation control, and engineering support. This position is based on-site in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement and manage the project QA/QC plan and enforce all HSE requirements
  • Conduct civil construction inspections using the Vyn Digital System and verify compliance with codes, standards, and engineering specifications
  • Review contractor documentation and confirm completion packages meet contractual requirements
  • Prepare and maintain quality reports, QC files, and project documentation
  • track and resolve nonconformities
  • Support updates to internal procedures, standards, and quality policies
  • Collaborate with Construction, Procurement, owners' engineers, and third-party independent engineers on specifications and deliverables
  • Participate in project meetings and provide civil technical support and quality updates to teams and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Associate degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of onshore wind QA/QC experience and 8+ years of construction QA/QC experience
  • Strong understanding of civil work, SWPPP requirements, and relevant codes and standards
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, CPM scheduling software, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • U.S. work authorization and ability to work on-site in Fort Stockton, TX

Nice to have

  • Experience with energy storage systems (ESS)
  • Ability to produce executive-level reporting and perform effectively under tight deadlines
