We are looking for a dynamic and committed civil project manager for a daytime role primarily based in Laval, with rotations to sites in Northern Quebec and Ontario. This civil project manager will be responsible for the complete planning, coordination, and supervision of civil engineering projects, ensuring their success from conception to closeout.
Job Responsibility:
Planning, organizing, and supervising the execution of work on construction sites
Monitoring budgets, timelines, and approvals
Managing non-conformities and deficiency lists
Supervising the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers
Strictly ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards
Communicating effectively with management and stakeholders
Being available to travel and temporarily reside at remote sites in Northern Quebec and Ontario during the scheduled rotation
Requirements:
A university degree (in engineering or a relevant field)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or civil engineering project management
Solid field experience and in-depth knowledge of construction methods
The ability to interpret technical plans and specifications with great accuracy
Natural leadership and excellent teamwork skills
Availability for regular travel outside of Laval (one week per month)
A strong commitment to quality and safety
