Do you have the ambition to manage large-scale budgets of up to $40 million within a high-level team? We are actively seeking an experienced civil project manager to join an elite general contractor, renowned for its expertise in large-scale public works and urban development. As a civil project manager, you will act as the true master builder for complex projects, ensuring the strategic liaison between municipal authorities and field teams to guarantee the delivery of high-quality, sustainable infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish detailed budgets while respecting city regulatory frameworks
  • Orchestrate logistics and schedules with the superintendent via ms project
  • Negotiate agreements with subcontractors to maximize profitability
  • Prepare all technical documentation required for site launches
  • Conduct regular field follow-ups to validate work progress
  • Estimate and negotiate extra work during the mandate
  • Produce productivity reports and analyze unit prices
  • Manage material orders and progressive billing for projects
  • Ensure fluid communication between the head office and construction sites

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil works management with a general contractor
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing public projects (sewers, water mains, earthworks)
  • Mastery of industry technological tools such as ms project, tpl, seao, and autocad
  • Strong organizational skills to successfully carry out high-value projects
  • Natural ability for negotiation and managing relationships with partners
  • Rigorous commitment to health and safety standards on job sites
