Job Responsibility:
Work on a variety of projects that may include site characterization, slope stability, numerical modeling, foundation design, tailings dam design, hydro dams, embankment dams and earthworks design
Visit project sites, gathering information as required to complement design activities and get involved in site investigation and drilling programs, core logging, lab testing, instrumentation installations and monitoring, as well as data review and analysis
Work with diverse teams of multi-discipline engineers and designers from conceptual design through to construction
Receive ongoing guidance and mentorship from leaders in the industry in a supportive, dynamic company culture that supports career development
Travel to various project sites within Canada and internationally
Requirements:
Working on a degree in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering, with a desire for continued development
Some field experience related to drilling and/or construction monitoring
You must be eligible to register as professional engineer-in-training in British Columbia
Exposure to slope stability and seepage analysis
