Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Civil Mobile Plant Operators to join our mining operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for safety-focused, team-oriented individuals looking to contribute to a high-performing site. As a Civil Mobile Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy civil earthmoving machinery on a busy mine site.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safe and efficient operation of heavy civil earthmoving machinery on a busy mine site
  • Play a key role in a civil project works on a FIFO roster

Requirements:

  • Hold relevant nationally recognized training statements (RIIs)
  • Provide verifiable evidence of substantial operating experience with Articulated Moxy (ADT), Roller, Excavator, Dozer, Loader
  • Be willing and able to pass a pre-employment medical assessment (PEM)
  • Successfully pass mandatory drug and alcohol testing
  • 2 years experience
  • Must hold Rii's for all machine operations
  • Valid drivers licence

  • Use hand-held rock drills for underground tasks
  • Complete pre-start checks and paperwork for vehicles and equipment
  • Carry out workplace inspections as required
  • Attend and participate in safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a safe work culture
  • Perform varied duties across both underground and surface operations
  • Follow instructions from Leading Hands and Site Supervisors
