Job Description

A well-regarded mid-sized law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Civil Litigation Paralegal with 3+ years of experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside highly respected attorneys in a collaborative, collegial environment with exposure to sophisticated litigation matters.

Job Responsibility

  • Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from inception through trial
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings and other court documents in state and federal courts
  • Manage discovery, including document production, subpoenas, and coordination of responses
  • Conduct legal and factual research
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines
  • Assist with trial preparation, deposition preparation, and hearing logistics
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors as needed
  • Organize and summarize medical records, discovery materials, and case documents

Requirements

  • 3+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
  • Experience with state and federal court filings
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Trial preparation experience preferred
  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred
