Support several attorneys in active litigation matters by coordinating priorities, monitoring deadlines, and keeping case activity moving efficiently
Prepare, edit, and finalize a wide range of legal materials, including pleadings, motions, briefs, subpoenas, deposition notices, and discovery-related documents
Handle court and electronic filings with close attention to procedural requirements, timing, and document accuracy
Maintain well-organized case files and litigation records so that documents are accessible, complete, and submitted on schedule
Coordinate calendars for hearings, meetings, depositions, and other case-related events, including arranging travel when needed
Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel regarding scheduling and case support matters
Assemble exhibits, binders, and supporting materials for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Prepare correspondence, presentations, expense documentation, billing support, and other administrative materials related to legal matters
Perform day-to-day office support tasks such as filing, copying, data entry, and general administrative coordination while safeguarding confidential information
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in a Legal Assistant role supporting litigation matters
Experience with PACER desired plus Microsoft Office Suite, Tables of Contents and Table of Authorities
Strong knowledge of court procedures in Texas, calendaring, e-filing, and formal court filing requirements
Experience drafting, formatting, proofreading, and managing litigation documents with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance competing deadlines for multiple attorneys
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with legal teams, clients, and court personnel
Proficiency in administrative support functions such as billing assistance, expense reporting, and case file management
