Civil Litigation Attorney

• Manage a comprehensive caseload of pre-litigation and active litigation files, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and trial preparation materials
• Collaborate with colleagues to prepare for depositions, negotiations, and client meetings, offering strategic insights and advice
• Conduct thorough legal research to evaluate claims and provide clients with informed guidance on their legal positions
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and other parties to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to update them on case progress and strategic decisions
• Mentor and provide strategic guidance to attorneys at the beginning of their careers, fostering their growth and development
• Stay informed about changes in legal procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and effective representation

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
• At least 6 years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for insurance defense experience
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and CoCounsel
• Strong skills in legal research, analysis, and case strategy
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
• In-depth understanding of legal procedures and their practical applications
