Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

• Manage civil litigation matters through the full case lifecycle, from pleadings through resolution
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, briefs, and other substantive litigation filings
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, including deposition outlines and witness preparation
• Review and analyze documents in support of discovery and case strategy
• Assist with mediation preparation and settlement strategy
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses and memoranda
• Support trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and coordinating with trial teams
• Work collaboratively with partners while maintaining responsibility for assigned matters

• 3–7+ years of civil litigation experience as a practicing attorney (flexible for the right candidate)
• Active California Bar admission, in good standing
• Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and deposition preparation
• Experience handling matters independently with limited supervision
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced boutique firm environment
