Job Description:

Join our Roads and Drains team as a Labourer and play a vital role in maintaining the community's civil and transport infrastructure. Working closely with a crew leader, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining of Council's valuable assets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your designated area remains safe, tidy and defect-free.

Job Responsibility:

Installing and replacing road signs
Pathways, kerb and channel repairs
Replacing manholes
Conducting fence repairs
Replacing lintels and grates
Repairing headwalls
Clearing open drains
Fixing traffic island defects

Requirements:

knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely
recent experience in a manual position
experience maintaining similar infrastructure/performing similar tasks
excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Current truck licence (minimum MR - medium rigid)
Construction Induction Card
