Job Responsibility:

  • Supports defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific / engineering research, capability / limitation analysis, reverse engineering analysis / characterizations, facility and vulnerability assessments
  • Collaboratively integrates analytic results findings or production with other related analytic efforts and assessments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of experience in all-source analysis in lieu of a degree
  • Experience supporting defense, national security, or technical analytical requirements
  • Ability to conduct scientific and engineering research, capability and limitation analyses, and reverse-engineering assessments
  • Working knowledge of at least one relevant engineering discipline such as civil, industrial, environmental, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Ability to perform facility and vulnerability assessments using established analytical methods
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize findings and integrate results into broader assessments
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to combined analytic products
  • TS/SCI clearance, willingness to take a CI polygraph

Nice to have:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in engineering, applied sciences, or a related technical discipline
  • Experience across multiple engineering subdisciplines, including power systems, pipelines, petroleum, geotechnical, transportation, materials science, seismic/earthquake, hydrology, or water resources
  • Prior experience conducting reverse engineering, system characterizations, or technical exploitation
  • Familiarity with defense infrastructure, critical facility analysis, or vulnerability assessment frameworks
  • Experience integrating analytic outputs with other intelligence or technical assessment efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Assist in providing quality assurance oversight and monitoring for compliance of project engineering, procurements, construction, inspection, and testing activities, and government regulatory requirements within the Quality Management Program (QMP)
  • Track and monitor corrective action records (CAR's) identified through the corrective action system and in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements
  • Develop requirements, flow down and monitor the performance of quality audits, as defined by the QMP, with special focus on engineered systems and sub-systems
  • Create, deploy and monitor key performance indicators (KPI's), both leading and lagging, to assure the HART QMP is driving the goal of 100% First Pass Quality of all processes and products provided
