Relevant Trade Certificate (Carpentry - Formwork)
2+ years of post-qualification experience in the civil construction industry is essential
Work Safety in the Construction Industry (White Card)
Current Working at Heights ticket
Current Confined Space ticket
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
Physically fit and capable of manual labouring tasks
A strong work ethic, commitment to site safety procedures, and ability to work effectively in a team

Job Responsibility

Formwork: All aspects of civil formwork, including large-scale road and bridge infrastructure
Detailed Steel Fixing: Accurate placement and tying of steel reinforcement
Concreting: Assisting with pours, screeding, and finishing
Drainage and Pipelaying (where relevant to structures)

Job Responsibility

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations
Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts
Lead the store team members in servicing customers
Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs
Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed
Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and making sure team members are staying current on their individual training

Research all discrepancies, confirm all corrections have been made, and close the batch which releases the product to inventory
Follow instructions to acquire product from reserve locations, with and without power equipment then remove and replace product in various types of storage locations
Team members with experience may be designated as trainers. As a trainer, take ownership of the DC target training program ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule, and that all documentation is complete. Explain specific job duties/functions to help ensure success of new team members, as well as to convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members
