As a civil engineering intern on the Rail Traffic and Public Projects team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.
Job Responsibility:
Perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work
Be part of a team, working for clients on projects with experienced engineers
Tasks may include basic project design through CAD drafting, performing research, and writing technical reports
Travel to job sites for observation as needed
Assisting with traffic and preemption analysis/design
Performing site visits
Assisting with plan or study preparation
Working closely with others on complex projects
Requirements:
Strong communication skills
Ability to contribute and work well on a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Pursuing a degree in civil engineering
