Job Description

We are searching for highly qualified students from leading engineering schools who are interested in pursuing further education in civil engineering through the internship program available at Martinez Moore Engineering.

Job Responsibility

  • Work as a member of project teams responsible for designing a range of civil/land or site development projects, such as large and small-scale commercial and institutional developments
  • Participate in our industry-leading, in-house staff development program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 40 college hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering of which at least 24 hours are engineering, physics or math related
  • Written recommendation from a civil engineering professor
  • A sound technical background and enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great civil/land or site development projects
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Microstation

  • Uses standard techniques to perform simple and routine calculations, as well as to assist with other routine engineering design tasks including: Proposed grading

  • Works on projects of limited complexity in a support role while performing work assignments which are closely managed by a supervisor or manager
