Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Drafter (French) to support engineering teams by preparing technical drawings and design documentation for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills and the ability to communicate effectively in French while collaborating with engineers and project teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and modify civil engineering drawings and plans using CAD software
  • Develop layouts, cross-sections, and detailed construction drawings
  • Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers on design updates
  • Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and drawing revisions
  • Interpret engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings
  • Support project teams with design documentation and technical support
  • Communicate with stakeholders in French and English as required

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AutoCAD or other CAD drafting tools
  • Knowledge of civil engineering drafting standards and practices
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice to have

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Drafting
  • Experience working on infrastructure, transportation, or construction projects
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar design tools
  • Experience working in engineering consulting environments
