Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of civil engineering experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects
  • Ability to handle civil design for solar sites, especially rural/access roads, tracker foundations, racking-related earthwork, and pile-by-pile grading considerations
  • Strong knowledge of storm water management / erosion control / drainage design
  • Able to coordinate engineering subcontractors and work closely with the construction team through the design lifecycle
  • Comfortable with early-stage estimating / proposal support: defining basis of design, estimating quantities, and supporting budgets before detailed design is complete
  • Hands-on familiarity with key tools, especially HEC tools, Civil 3D, and GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, etc.)
