Job Description

We are currently looking for a Civil Design Coordinator to join our Engineering & Commissioning team, part of M Power Projects division in Athens offices. At METLEN Energy & Metals, we are catalysts for a sustainable future, positioned at the forefront of the energy transition and competitive green metallurgy globally. The role involves coordinating the civil design process, reviewing civil studies, managing subcontractors, and providing technical support to the site team.

Job Responsibility

  • Co-ordination of the civil design process
  • Review of civil, structural, and architectural studies to meet project, code, and contractual requirements
  • Production and issuance of construction drawings on site
  • Management of the review procedure by the client
  • Co-ordination with the project team
  • Co-ordination of the sub-contractors and sub-consultants
  • Subcontracts administration and management
  • Technical support of the Site team
  • Develop, review & monitor civil design budget & schedule
  • Assist with and review estimates for assigned projects
  • Make site visits if required

Requirements

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (preferably in the energy sector)
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications, especially Microsoft suite programs
  • BIM knowledge is desirable
  • Familiar with structural design
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication & organizational skills
  • Management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to travel abroad
