Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing litigation team, working alongside experienced senior solicitors on a varied and stimulating caseload. With excellent opportunities for progression, you’ll play a key role in shaping and growing the department.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing a mixed caseload of civil, property, and insolvency litigation matters
  • Handling landlord and tenant disputes, possession proceedings, and general litigation files with appropriate supervision
  • Supporting senior solicitors on more complex matters and strategic legal work
  • Liaising with clients, counsel, and external professionals to progress matters effectively
  • Responding promptly and professionally to client queries and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the growth and development of the litigation department through networking and business development initiatives
  • Assisting in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing best practice procedures

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years’ PQE in civil and/or property litigation
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset, eager to contribute to a collaborative environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle files independently with supervision as needed
  • Experience dealing directly with clients and managing matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
