We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil & Structural / Architecture Engineer Owner's Representative to join our team to support our client's Data Centre Developments in India. In this role, you will play a critical part in reviewing and advising on Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineering design and construction processes. Your expertise will ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and functionality.
Job Responsibility:
Provide technical review and advice on Civil, Structural, and Architectural engineering designs and development plans
Act as the primary point of contact and Client Representative for civil engineering-related matters, collaborating closely with Team Members, Client Team, Stakeholders, Consultants, and Contractors
Support and monitor design and construction progress and ensure adherence to approved designs, codes, and standards
Identify potential design and construction issues early, proposing practical solutions to mitigate risks and delays
Oversee compliance with local building regulations, environmental standards, and project specifications
Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications
Support decision-making by providing detailed engineering analyses and recommendations
Facilitate smooth communication between multidisciplinary teams to align on project goals and timelines
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control protocols
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
a Master’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in civil, structural, and architectural engineering design and construction
Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) is highly desirable
Proven track record of working on large-scale data center or similar infrastructure development projects such as Oil & Gas, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Large Mixed-Used Developments and infrastructure projects
Comprehensive understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in relevant engineering software tools and platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Autocad Construction Cloud / BIM360 or similar)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environment
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
