Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity within Brisbane City Council Urban Cleansing as a City Malls Cleaner who can work around the Brisbane CBD and Valley. As part of the team, you will be working on various projects in Brisbane City. Staff will be required to work Day, Afternoon, and Night Shift where needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake cleansing services and maintenance
  • Be adaptable to last minute changes
  • Utilise tools and machinery to remove rubbish, waste, and other debris

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Basic cleaning skills through previous work history
  • Ability to utilise tools and machinery to remove rubbish, waste, and other debris
  • Must be physically able to walk up to 12km’s a day
  • C Class licence
  • Valid First Aid + CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain within first 2-3 months of role)
  • High attention to detail
  • Proven cleaning experience
