Job Responsibility

  • Build, Manage and troubleshoot Citrix Presentation Server
  • Manage multi zone and multi-location server farms
  • Citrix Printer Management– setup, installing printer drivers, issues with printing (if any) on the server farm
  • Managing Citrix Web interface, secure gateway/Security components detailed configuration and connectivity
  • Multi domain administration
  • Effective Farm and Presentation Server Administration
  • ICA Client – Customizing and Deploying
  • Use effective resource publishing and load management
  • Citrix Application installation, publishing, isolation and streaming
  • Citrix User profile and user management
  • Integrating Active Directory GPOs with Citrix servers
  • Implementing Critical Security Strategies & Access
  • Installing and configuring the Citrix Presentation Server Clients (Installing Citrix Receiver/ICA client for multi user setup or users having issues)
  • Configuring Citrix Presentation Server Policies
  • Optimizing Citrix Server performance by leveraging existing monitoring tools (like innovations)
  • Updating Citrix Licenses
  • Server Remote management (iLO, HBA configuration)
  • Root cause analysis, debugging and Problem skills
  • Adhar and follow Incident, Problem and Change and ITIL Process

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in a systems administrator role, specifically managing Citrix environments
  • Expert knowledge of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (Formerly XenApp/XenDesktop), StoreFront, and NetScaler
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and networking (DNS, TCP/IP, Firewalls)
  • Proficiency in PowerShell for preferred automation
  • Citrix Certified Associate/Professional/Expert (CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V) are highly desirable
