The Citigold Client Advisor is a strategic partner for high-net-worth individuals delivering comprehensive wealth management guidance and bespoke financial solutions. Serving as a trusted advisor, the Citigold Client Advisor proactively anticipates client needs, crafting personalized strategies that encompass sophisticated investment management, advanced planning, and expert navigation of complex financial landscapes. This client-centric approach empowers clients to achieve their financial aspirations, while contributing to the growth of the Citi Wealth franchise. The Advisor builds deep, long-term relationships, acting as the central point of contact and collaborating with internal specialists to provide a holistic client experience. This role emphasizes wealth preservation, growth, and intergenerational wealth transfer, recognizing the unique needs of the world's changemakers. The Citigold Client Advisor is expected to possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and consistently seek opportunities to enhance the client experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement personalized financial plans encompassing investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and risk management
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with high-net-worth clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all wealth management needs
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the high-net-worth segment
  • Partner with internal specialists to provide clients with comprehensive financial solutions
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities
  • Organize and host client events to foster relationships and provide valuable market insights
  • Ensure that KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to

Requirements:

  • 6 to 10 (or more) years of experience in wealth management or a related field, serving high-net-worth clients
  • Relevant experience in North Asia Markets (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan) with strong networks for client growth and business development
  • Strong understanding of North Asian culture and practices
  • Fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese as well as English
  • Proven track record of success in business development and client relationship management
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and wealth planning principles
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Mandatory certifications as required for advising on and selling financial products
